You can use User creation function when you want to grant access to your new employees. User creation allows the customer to manage and control who can access your account in the system, what actions they can perform, and what data and reports they can see or modify.
- Only Admins can create or edit users.
To create a user:
- Click the "Add" button on the Users page (Configuration > Users)
- Fill in the empty fields (the required fields are: Account, User name, Email, and Password).
In this step, you can specify a new user's permissions, a User type/role (see explanation below), time zone, and include a User to the specific site, queue, or group.
- Click the "Save" button
- Every user in Sip.io system needs a Role
User types and roles:
- Admin: full unrestricted access to its Call Center privileges
- CC Supervisor: has control over Call-center (CC), Reports, and Real-time Monitoring. This type of user can also Spy/Whisper/Barge other's calls.
- Call-center Agent: Limited to its Call Center privileges. Only agents can be included in the queues and can be spied on. Also, this type of user is required to be Checked-In into a Device in order to execute calls.
- Default user: similar to a CC Agent, if it is not specified by Admin, does not have additional permissions in its Call Center interface.
- API User: a type and role for specific API integrations with third-party systems
